Kevin Milne's future on Fair Go, TVNZ plan to dominate media awards, and Friday night TV goes head to head. That's tonight on TONIGHT from 5.50PM.

A bit of a T.V line up tonight, first up Kevin Milne's story: Recently Kevin got interviewed by New Idea and he told them why he gave up reporting and being the main host. Kevin want's to spend time with his youngest daughter and be a bit more of a stay at home father.

TVNZ plan to dominate the Media Awards yet again this year, last year TVNZ's ONE News, Close Up and Sunday took top spot in their areas, but as TONIGHT reported last night on the BP Oil spill muck up by ONE News, things are looking a little more dull.

Friday night television, It's supposed to be the night the whole family can stay up and be entertained, but who's dominating? And should the quality of Friday T.V improve? The most watched show on Friday night (excluding ONE News) is Coronation Street. New TV show Glee on TV3 doesn't take 3rd surprisingly, but new TVONE import Dancing On Ice does. Glee is 4th and 7 days 5th. But it looks as if TV3 viewers flick the switch when new AO Family Guy comes on.
